MT300

Long-Range c2isr Tactical Antenna

High-gain directional antenna, integrated radios with auto-calibration, acquisition and tracking software.

MT-300 auto-tracking tactical antenna systems are designed to support forward operations in the harshest environments. The MT’s maximize the range and reliability of air-to-ground video and data for manned and unmanned air and ground vehicles. Soldier friendly, MT-series antennas are easy to operate, automatically locating RF signals and tracking them effortlessly. These systems feature accurate aperture efficient offset tracking and radio agnostic multi-band links have been demonstrated beyond 220 nm (420 km).

Their modular design makes them easy to deploy, requiring no tools to setup or teardown. Troll’s MT’s can automate signal tracking using a variety of tracking methodologies, including RF, GPS telemetry or spectrum data. This position information can be used to automatically locate airborne or ground transmission assets and maintain signal lock.

MT-300 Auto-Calibration, Acquisition and Tracking
MT-series antennas incorporate an internal INS and dual-GPS (DGPS) to calibrate, acquire and track assets automatically. Troll’s auto-tracking ground antennas are capable of auto-aligning the position and orientation of the antenna’s boresight without operator input. MT antenna’s feature patented RF tracking software to measure any deviation from the antenna’s angle of peak gain to optimize range by maximizing signal strength.

Radio Frequency Spectrum Tracking
MT antennas provide a state-of-the-art RF tracking system that samples the RF energy at multiple points using “track-on-average” or “peak energy” to continuously point the antenna to the desired frequency emitter. An optional internal spectrum analyzer permits the operator to assess the RF environment by conducting frequency sweeps. Valid waveforms and signals can be distinguished from interference, aiding in the ability to find clear channels particularly in congested radio frequency environments.

MT Series Antennas feature a modular design that enables rapid deployment. They include a heavy duty, continuous rotation pan & tilt motor with -15° to +60° elevation. All electronics are housed onboard, including the radio/modem. Once power and Ethernet are connected the system auto-calibrates using its INS/DGPS. MT300 antennas are assembled without tools and comes with form-fitted cases for easy transportation.
