MT-300 models are tactical tracking antenna systems that have been designed to support forward operations in the harshest environments. The MT's maximize the range and reliability of air-to-ground video and data for manned and unmanned air, ground and sea vehicles.  Soldier friendly, MT-series antennas are easy to operate, automatically locating RF signals and tracking them effortlessly. These systems feature extremely accurate, high-gain antennas that provide exceptional long-range performance that have been tested beyond 220 nm (260 miles, 420 km).

Their modular design makes them easy to deploy, requiring no tools to setup or teardown.  Troll’s MT's can automate signal tracking using a variety of tracking methodologies, including RF, GPS telemetry or spectrum data. This position information can be used to locate airborne or ground transmission assets and maintain robust RF signal lock even during GPS denied events.

Automatic Tracking and Acquisition  

MT-series antennas incorporate an internal INS and dual-GPS (DGPS) for automatic calibration. In the case of bidirectional systems utilizing a Troll type steerable antenna on board an aircraft the MT's position information, provided by the INS and DGPS is transmitted to the remote asset.  This data is used to automatically steer the remote antenna to establish the link and enable completely hands-off operation.

Optional Spectrum Tracking

MT antennas provide a state-of-the-art RF tracking system that samples the RF energy at multiple points using “track-on-average” or “peak energy” to continuously point the antenna to the desired frequency emitter. An optional internal spectrum analyzer permits the operator to assess the RF environment by conducting frequency sweeps. Valid waveforms and signals can be distinguished from interference, aiding in the ability to locate clear channels.
