The Mini-GS has unique features that include:

The Mini-GS has been proven to provide exceptional long-range performance and relies on multi-axis, stabilized high-gain antennas that are continuously steered toward airborne or ground assets. This allows the Mini-GS to focus all its signal energy into narrow beams, thereby increasing received signal level, reducing the need for amplification and maximizing range. The Mini-GS is a highly directional antenna with narrow beamwidths to provide resistance to signal jamming and interference that plague omni antennas.

Dual-GPS with Embedded (INS)
The Mini-GS incorporates dual-GPS and embedded INS for improved accuracy, self-calibration and stand-alone positioning; heading, pitch and roll. The Mini-GS is independent of any external navigation equipment eliminating the need to connect onboard GPS or gyrocompasses. 


IP66 Certified
The Mini-GS has been certified to IP66. Its ruggedized gears and tested design will withstand tough marine or ground vehicle environments.

Troll Systems' has developed, tested and deployed new dual-polarized omni-directional antennas certified to withstand shock, salt corrosion, water intrusion and operate at extremely high or low temperatures.

Troll’s dual-polarized omnidirectional antennas are comprised of two elements, a vertically polarized coaxial sleeve dipole and a horizontally polarized turnstile slot. Combined in a marine qualified, solid enclosure, and tested to Mil-S-901D, each enclosure is engineered to meet an IP65 standard that guarantees optimum survivability even in the most demanding marine environments.
